Versatile Blogger Award!

I am so truly touched! The lovely, funny and endearing Dusty over at Girls Love Fried Pickles has awarded me with the versatile blogger award! Since I am fairly new to the blogging world, I can’t tell you how honored I am by this! If you have not read her blog before, you must pop over there and check it out. Girl is seriously funny. Like tears rolling down your cheeks funny. Love her!

So the rules behind receiving this award are as follows:

  1. Give a shout out to the person who awarded you.
  2. Share 7 random facts about myself.
  3. Send on the award to 15 other bloggers whose blogs you enjoy and appreciate and then let them know they were awarded!

All righty! 7 random facts, huh? Well, here we go!

  1. I still think Donnie Wahlberg is pretty darn hot. ;o)
  2. I don’t know how to thread a sewing machine.
  3. I like to rearrange furniture on a regular basis. Unfortunately I can’t do it very often in my bedroom or my living room because of how they are set up.
  4. I can pick things up with my feet. LOL
  5. I am incredibly naive, as much as I try not to be.
  6. My little brother is 12 years younger than me, and my mom is 12 years younger than her sister.
  7. I have never been outside of the United States.

Wow! That was way harder than I expected. Now on to the most difficult part- choosing 15 bloggers that I love! I enjoy so many blogs, it’s hard to narrow it down to just 15! I will do my best!

Well, there you have it! I have to say, it took me over an hour to write this post! There are so many blogs that I enjoy reading and getting tips from.

Please take a moment to check them all out.

All my best,

Noritake China

So after weeks of agonizing over which pattern, style, and color to pick, I have finally decided! I am so, so, so excited and can’t wait for these to arrive.

It’s possible they will be on back order which sucks, but I can wait for them, that is much I love them! I hope they are true to the picture as far as color goes.
Check it out the Kealia Green series! I am so in love with this. Sorry for the small picture, I couldn’t get the large one to save for the life of me!

Fabulous Friday

Hello, my lovies!

How much do you love Fridays? They are the third best day of the week. Just popping in to let you know i have three fun craft projects in the works! Two done, one almost done and I will be posting about them soon. Two are Christmas decor centered!

I also had my nerve conduction study done today. There seems to be no nerve damage done to my arm. They also performed an EMG. I didn’t not realize they would be jabbing needles about an inch into my arm and neck. Needless to say….very painful. Also had a bit of disturbing news while there, but don’t quite feel up to discussing it just yet.

Heidi’s mom had a pretty good day today, so let’s continue to keep Ursula and Heidi in our prayers.

My best,

Thoughtful, prayerful Thursday

Hello, my dear friends.

I am coming to you again, asking for your prayers for Heidi and her mother. I had the joy of getting to meet with Heidi today for lunch, seeing one another for the first time in 15 years. It was so nice to visit with her and I have to say she has not changed one bit.

As I have mentioned before, her mother is very ill with thoracic cancer. At this point the doctor’s are just trying to manage her pain.

I am asking that you pray for Heidi that God gives her strength to get through this and that He holds her close and comforts her heart. Pray that Ursula’s pain is eased and that she is able to be cognizant of this precious time she has with Heidi. Pray that her husband will understand the severity of her illness and be supportive of her during this time.

I have not lost either of my parents, I have been blessed.  My heart aches for Heidi and I know she can use all of the love and support we can send her.

Busy couple of days

Still feeling a bit under the weather, very tired and a little sick to my stomach. Just enough that all I want to do is lie down and rest. :o( I hope I am better before my birthday an Christmas!

It has been a busy couple of days, my cousin Darin has been here putting insulation in my attic (mine had turned to dust) and he just finished that up today. Tomorrow he is finishing the sheet-rocking of the garage. Yay! I will be so excited when that is done, I think it will make it so much easier for me to keep the garage clean and organized, too. My sweet Uncle also installed my outside garage door lights which I have had for the last 7 years, but no one to put them up. My street isn’t very lit up at night, so this will also make me feel much safer.

Little things make me so happy. :o)

Hope you all are well.
